In 2010 many voters seemed to go to the polls drunk on the slogans, emotion and ideology of the Tea Party and far right.
In the cold light of 2011, these folks have woken up with the job market stuck in a holding pattern, their governors waging war against their rights as employees and a nasty hot wing nut induced hangover.
The cool compress of reason, exemplified by folks like Rep. Joe Crowley (D) New York and his tour de force on the House floor or the explosive effort in Ohio to recall TP Poodle Governor John Kasich all speak to a growing disenchantment with the emotionally laden but reality light platform of the conservative extremists.
Case in point, the light turn out at Tax Day rallies across the US. From New Hampshire to the West coast, oh, pretty much across the US suggest we the people are coming to our collective senses about what it means to be a nation and to live in right relations with one another, economic justice.
